
What makes us stop at the sight of red velvet ropes? What do we tell ourselves, that prevents us from just "crossing the red line?" Why do we feel we don't belong on the "other side?"

I mostly encounter yellow lines. When they referenced parking lots I had to laugh because folks around here mostly ignore the lines in favor of a sort of free form style.
