Lady Bloggers Society

This year, our vacations involved plans for what to do with a new baby.

Yes, our family has a blog now.... what to do with the blog while we're gone? Come to Lady Bloggers Society today, where I share how our family handles this very important issue.

Please stop over to Lady Bloggers Society (an absolute daily read for me) and find out some ideas, maybe something new for you to try, and see what works for us.

Let LBS know your ideas for who minds the blog while you're gone.

See you there!

27 notes to the Empress:

  1. I'll swing over to see you there!

  2. I let my blog go to pieces...I only have about 5 readers, so I think it will be okay :)

  3. Interesting and good points! Have taken notes...
    Thank You

  4. This is easy for me. I never go on vacation.

  5. You have some great ideas. I opt to schedule posts for release. I turn off comments for all but the day's post and let folks know I'm traveling so they won't be surprised if I can't respond. I hope you enjoy your holiday. Blessings...Mary

  9. Vacation? (insert Homer Simpson drool here.)
I have an award for you up at my blog. Come git it, woman!

  10. I usually kill myself writing posts ahead of time so that wherever I go I can just hit "publish." Then, I just try to hit a few places each day for comments. Every time, I can see a decrease in readership while I'm gone and I try not to stress about it!

  11. I'm so there... heading on vaca in 2 days.

  12. What is this...vacation...you speak of? Seriously, I just do some scheduled posts. We never go away for long.

  13. I'll just hitchhike on Wifi connections wherever I can find them and keep posting ;-)

  14. lucky vacation lady, I don't blog. I just rest , relax and try to have enough fun to write about when I return. :)

  15. I told everyone where I was going, then wrote a few posts from the road. All was well when I returned. I don't have enough time to pre-write posts...

  16. I need to go read that post! I've been on two vacations this year, and my tactic was to drop off the face of the earth for a while... with no warning. That can't be the best option!

  17. I enjoyed the post today and am glad to hear you get to vacation. This was my solution last year:

that and a couple of posts from the boat. BTW: even with lowly old blogger, I can schedule my posts to show up when I want, so you don't need to be on Wordpress.

  21. You are killing me. How do you do all this?

How are you so on top of things?

  22. Thank you to all who stopped at Lady Bloggers! You are always supportive of what I do, and thank you!

  23. I also dropped off the face of the earth while vacationing ;-) Next time I think I might ask friends (blogging and otherwise) or family guest post!
