SITS Girls: Why You Want MamaRobinJ

I watched this video. It's of a blogger, known as MamaRobinJ.

In 2:28, I can see her heart.

SITS Girls - an online community of over 9,000 women - excitingly opened up the opportunity to be a speaker at their "Bloggy Boot Camps," to their readers.

Robin saw this and knew she had to take this chance, so she sent in this video. Of all the submissions received by SITS, Robin made it to the finalists.

If you are a member of the SITS community, like I am, you can vote on who you want to speak for you, at the SITS Bloggy Boot Camp.

I would love to see MamaRobinJ be chosen. If you've been to her blog, Farewell Stranger, you know why. If you haven't been there, you really should have her as a daily read on your blog rounds.

Robin is a Post Partum Depression survivor. A determined sister in this struggle, who is firm in her belief - as I am -  that we can make it through most anything in life, with support. An online community of support was HUGE in Robin's road back to happiness. She still struggles, but she's no longer climbing out of the darkness alone. I know how important this is, I have the PPD survivor button up on my sidebar.

SITS offers this support that Robin writes of, and counts on. Robin would bring to life what SITS offers:  an online community of those eager to help.

Beyond Robin's public struggle and recovery with PPD, she has also spoken for years publicly, as a Professional Communicator. She has given workshops and presentations on writing and editing.

She can show you how to write content that is a true reflection of you, and cut out the extra and get right down to the meat. Technically, she has the skills. Experience wise, she can provide you with ways to avoid burnout, lack of creativity, or how to stay inspired.

Soulfully, she can inspire you to use your blog as a vehicle of change, and bring your community along with you. She can speak of taking your blog to the level of what your goal is for you and your writing: she will help you focus and decide what direction of growth you hope to take: in your personal life, and writing life. She is an example of making things happen in your life: and she can tell you how.

For all these reasons, I decided to post on voting for MamaRobinJ.

I'd love to see her speak at SITS Girls Bloggy Boot Camp for the selfish reason of mine:

To see a true story of how blogging and online community support saves our lives daily.

Like it does mine.

Please, go and vote for MamaRobinJ here, I would love to see her inspire others to live a richer life, through the wonderful opportunity that blogging provides.

Good luck, Robin!

You can vote for Robin HERE once a day.

THANK YOU!!

24 notes to the Empress:

  2. Alexandra, you're such a beautiful soul, posting this.

I love Robin, I read her everyday, and you're right, she DESERVES this, as do all the participants of the boot camp. They deserve to listen to an inspirational woman, just as she deserves to speak to them.

    I voted :)
