I chanced upon a mother's meditation journal. You know what fluttered out? A coupon for Pampers from 2008, that I had placed in its pages as a bookmark. It marked a page with a little poem called "If I hHad My Child To Raise Over Again." Both made me cry a little, and remember to allow my face to light up every time I see one of my children, now long, long, LONG out of diapers. The children they will never be again, not even tomorrow. <br /><br />This is a theme in several pieces I've read over the past few days. Kindness to our children. Paying attention to these little moments because they'll be gone someday. GAH. Stop me now.
