I Went To BlogHer and Got Some Sexy Healthy Oh!Shoes

I am back from BlogHer '11, and everything you heard about BlogHer conferences is true.

From the SWAG, to the amazing women, to the celebrity sightings, to the feeling of community.

I kept wanting to break into song *My People My People Take me to My People!*

It was just like that.

I had heard about the SWAG. "Was it that good?," I wondered.

Oh, mama, it was that good.

I came home with the sexy shoes you see here.

They are from Oh!shoes.com and I was the lucky winner from the biz card raffle, that Julie of ChubbyMommyRunningClub, arranged. She was at BlogHer working with Oh!shoes.

Why did I fall in love with this pair? They are soft as kidskin, have big, fat cushioned insoles and are dangerously sexy.

The best part? Oh!shoes are cute and comfortable, and are the marriage between athletic shoe technology and Italian fashion design.

Can my shoes be sexy, with me remaining pain free? I was asked to wear them to all three scheduled BlogHer parties on Saturday night.

At 1:30 a.m., my feet looked happier than my face.

Yes.Yes.Yes. These shoes had me sounding like When Harry Met Sally.

Thank you, Julie, for giving this mama a thrill.

I love these shoes. My feet do, too.

I've never been much of a fan of high heels, but to know that designers are finally catering to the fact that we'd like to be stylish and painfree... it's music to my ears. :) Those are some CUTE shoes!!! Also, you just look so radiant, happy, and beautiful in this video.

  24. I *knew* there were shoes to covet at BlogHer...wrote about that in my post today ("I'm Jealous!") even BEFORE I saw your gorgeous swaggy shoes. So I ordered myself a pair. Now I feel better.

  25. I should not have looked at those shoes. My closet makes Imelda Marcos' closets look beggardly. I am so fucked (as is my credit card) Sigh.

  26. Absolutely awesome shoes! I normally don't go for heels (I'm a flip-flop kind of girl), but those are FAB!

  31. I went to BlogHer and all I got was a staph infection from the damn hot tub! Glad you got some shoes out of the deal!

  32. Why did I think you would have this soft little hint of that beautiful heritage of yours in your voice? You sound like my people! My Chicago family.

Those shoes are adorable. I love beauty and comfort meshed together.

I just read Cheryl over at MommyPants BlogHer post and watched her flash mob video and quite suddenly I was crying. The tears caught me by surprise. I should have gone. Every year I let whatever I've got going on in my life, be the priority. I must make this a priority. You say BlogHer is having a writer's conference which is right up my alley. Unfortunately and I MUST make this my priority, it's when my hubs and I are going away for our 25th wedding anniversary. I promise you, I will do this. You all mean too much to me.

  33. And, you looked HOT in those shoes. Yes, you did.

    And your hair is FAB!

Also, I totally giggled at Joann's comment. Chi-town girls rock!

Lucky girl, will you help me pick out some lottery numbers??

  36. No lie about these shoes.

They feel like a pair of running shoes...the cusions, the insoles, and the style.

Man, I feel so sexyhotuberasskicker in them.

    Important things for a mama.

    LOVE THESE SHOES.

  37. You had me at comfortable shoes.

Most of the time I can't do heels and such because they pinch my toes.

    But I could handle comfortable.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Again, it was so great seeing you! This video does not seem to be working at the moment for me - but I'm a sucker for comfy shoes.

Hope you are doing well! Mwah! xoxo
