Is There Any Way in the World to Make Back to School Fun?

I don't know, but I try.

I do it, for the children.

  1. First off, and most importantly, I love those wedges you're wearing.

Secondly, I am very aware of how hard it is to be a good guest on a quick--almost hurried--morning show slot. There is no reason why I'm aware of this, outside of me watching Kathie Lee and Hoda rush guests through sometimes. ANYHOW, you are *excellent* at this type of interview. It's a very structured kind of talk, wherein you are to be relaxed and fun, and you manage to do that. Whoa, Lady, you MANAGE TO DO THAT.

  2. Good work! I'm no help. I had a celebration because I don't have to do this anymore ; )
Don't let me fool you. I also have 3 school days scapbooks crammed so fat they won't close and separate ones just for high school years.

  3. What a great interview. It's a fantastic idea to treat them to a party for the first day of school. If my mom greeted me with streamers, cupcakes and ice cream for first day of school breakfast, I might have looked forward to it rather than dreading it.

    1. It does make the day seem not as bad, right? But, truthfully, we all hate to see summer end.
