This Is Me - Baby E Post

Me and my brothers
Monday morning. And a Daylight Savings Time Monday Morning. I hope this little visit with Baby E today makes you smile, and gets your day to a sweeter start. Just like Baby E does for me.

That's a big reason we decided to do Baby E posts on  Monday mornings. Mondays are pretty tough, and we wanted to make them just a bit easier for you---

Here's hoping this Baby E post does just that. xo
------------------------------------------------

Hi. It's me today. Baby E. I am tired. It is Monday morning, but I am tired.

We stayed up late to see this cool movie last night, Contact. My mom knew the parts to cover my ears with.

I loved the travel in space wormholes part. That was so cool. I wish it was me in the movie.

We went to a school carnival fair on Friday. I won a long yellow snake. But not a real one.

My brother's friend won the new Nintendo!!! He brought it over on Saturday and we all played with it.

My last basketball game was on Saturday. I made 4 baskets.  And my dad said I was a superstar.

Soon it will be time for soccer.

Last night, we watched my mom's friend, and her kids, be on America's Funniest Videos. I have lots of ideas for videos I want to send in and win $100,000.00 for. They would be the winners, too. Mostly, scaring people ideas.

This Thursday is the Season Premiere of Wipe-Out. That is mine and my dad's favorite show. My mom always says, "I can't watch that. I don't believe what people do for money."

But, me and my dad love to watch it. Maybe you should make a note: the season premiere is this Thursday night. The commercial said, "more red punching gloves." It's going to be really funny.

When we watch movies about Aliens, I always can recognize the Alien Agent. I know which person in the movie is going to turn out to be the alien.

I saw a commercial for Cash for Gold. All you do is put your gold stuff in an envelope and mail it and money comes back. I told my mom she should send her wedding rings in. She said she wouldn't do that for all the money in the universe. I asked her how much money she would ask for, for me. And she said "There's not enough money in the world, or the history of the world, or the universe, or the multiverse, for you."

I don't get it. I would sell me for a lot of money. She said, "When you're older, you'll know what I mean."

We watch Transformer cartoons together with my mom. She likes them. She said if our dad was a Transformer he'd be the Black and White volkswagen beetle Geek Squad car, and his arms would become keyboards instead of cannons.

My dad said,"HaHa." And then he said, "Laugh, until you can't find a post you wrote, and you need me."

This is a picture of me and my big brothers. They make me laugh.

Bye. It's getting nice out. I can't wait.

Bye.

Oh. Next week, I can't wait to talk about my future.

Bye.

Don't forget to watch Wipe Out this Thursday.

  1. Hey Baby E:
Baby T here. I'm home sick today. Mom says it's the flu. First I was FREEZING, now I'm ROASTING.
My family went to see Mars Needs Moms yesterday. It was really good. I know when a kids' movie is really good when my mom doesn't fall asleep. Mom cried near the end when the movie mom . . . Oh, I better not give it away.
I LOVE Wipeout too. I watch all the old episodes on-line. I think the guys who comment are almost as funny as the contestants.
Gotta go. Mom says I need to rest now.

  2. Happy Monday, Baby E!! I'm with your mom, I wouldn't sell my wedding rings either. Great job on the 4 baskets!!! You'll have to start signing autographs soon. My brothers make me laugh, too. I love the idea of your dad being the Geek Squad transformer, lol!!! Have a great day, Home-E.

  3. No, Baby E, you could never be sold, no matter how large the payout.

And "more red punching gloves" - I mean, how could you go wrong? Enjoy your season premiere!

(Note to The Empress: what handsome boys!!)

  4. I'm tired, too, Baby E. Do you think it's because of the time change?

Sounds like you had a fun weekend. Too bad the snake you won wasn't real -- I bet your mom would have loved it!

  5. Hi Baby E! Hey, when it's summer time, you and your brothers ought to build some sort of Wipeout course in your back yard. (If your mom asks where you got this idea, don't mention my name.)

  6. "Next week I can't wait to talk about my future."

Is there ANYTHING more optimistic than this statement on the internet today? Me think not, Baby E.

    Thank you.

  8. HI Baby E.

You guys are the funniest people I know in this blog land... seriously Alexandra, if you run out on post ideas, do write one on the Transformers. I love Transformers.

  15. Helloooooo, Baby E! Afraid I'll have to agree with your mom on Wipe-Out, but congrats to you for being a basketball superstar! Will love to hear what you have to say about the "future".

  16. Our DVR is set for Wipeout. My son and husband love to watch it.

  17. You can always recognize the alien agent? That is fantastic. I just know that will come in handy one day.

  18. Tell your boys "Thank you" for watching my girls on AFV! And judging by the finalists, I think Baby E's "scaring people" ideas actually have a good chance at the money!

  19. Just started soccer here too. Lots of roadtrips in my near future. :(

  20. Oh, E, my Cherubs and their father love Wipe-Out, too.

Don't tell your mom you heard it from me, but there is a Wipe-Out for Wii game. My Cherubs don't own it, but The Small One's best friend does. The Small One asks the best friend to bring the game with him every time he comes over to play.

    We so appreciate it.

  22. What up, Baby E? Have I told you I have a Baby E too? He's not quite as great with words as you are. In fact the only words he really know are "nooo", "moooo" (which is more of a sound), and "hewoo"..that means Hello.

I'm glad you take over this spot on Mondays. It makes me smile.

And then your mom makes me smile the rest of the week.

  23. Baby E,
You have quite a busy life. I love that soccer is getting ready to start. My son, age 22, played soccer even after high school. He loves it so much!

I always enjoyed watching those games. I hope this soccer season is a great one for you!

  24. Wipe Out is my favourite show. So is America's Funniest Home Videos...mostly because I like watching people get hurt...but in a funny way ;)
Thanks for cheering me up today. I hope you have a wonderful week.

  25. Baby E! "More red punching gloves" are all I need in a commercial or t.v. program, for that matter. I will be watching.

  26. Okay, I'm loving the exchange between Dad and Mom re: not being able to find a post! Sounds like something my husband would say to me. Smart, funny parents and smart, funny Baby E!

  27. I had a long Monday, and a post from you, Baby E was exactly what I needed to cheer me up!

I remember when that movie, Contact first came out. I saw it in the theater with my best friend.

I have never seen Wipeout, but it does sound like it could be fun. I'll try to remember to try it. Maybe my daughter will like it?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Have you tried wipeout for the Wii? My kids love that game!!!

  29. Baby E it's true. You just make Mondays a whole lot better (or Tuesdays - it's Tuesday morning right now because France is 7 hours ahead of you). No money in the world could buy you.

  30. my parents always told us to cover our ears during inappropriate parts of movies too. or, they'd fast forward through it if it was really bad. it was kind of annoying at the time, but, they were doing a good thing.

    always listen to your mother.

  31. So sweet! Love the multiple byes. That's my kid too. DVRing Wipeout. (not really)

  32. I wish I had the recognizing aliens gift - that would come in handy!

  33. So awesome! I think I might put all my gold in a bag and send it, it's very tempting. I'll put my wedding ring in there too if my husband eats one more of my cookies.
Congrats to your mom's friend. You should TOTALLY send in videos, I bet they would be hilarious!!

  34. I just watched Wipe Out for the first time the other day and laughed so hard. The one I watched was the family edition, maybe you could talk your mom into going on the show with you, we would all tune in!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I flip by Wipe Out and don't get it. Maybe it will be better with more red gloves.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hey Baby E, It's Tuesday and I'm still tired! Your mom is right, you do make me smile : ) and could use someone to point out the aliens to me around here. I never get them!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Hey Baby E! Wipe Out is DA BOMB! That show makes me laugh every time. I want to change the channel and I can't.

And guess what? Little Chalupa just had his first soccer practice today! Hooray for nicer weather!

  38. Baby E., I've been kind of sad, and I really needed your post, not to mention that gorgeous picture of the three of you! Thank you! I think you've got the keen mind of a businessman. I mean, you're even willing to sell yourself?! Would your mom get the money?? I'm with your mom though - you're pretty darn priceless! I bet you couldn't pay anyone to take you away from her! Have a great week, Baby E. I will check out that wipe out show - I'm kind of into those. Can't wait to read your next post about your future!!

  39. Baby E, it is always so nice to hear form you! Congratulations on playing such a great game in basketball. I did watch America's Funniest Videos on Sunday also to look for those same friends, but I have never watched a whole episode of Wipe Out, I have to agree with your mom on that one. I am looking forward to reading about your future next week!

  44. Baby E! I love the movie Contact and I never cover my ears, but of course I'm a geezer and can apparently handle these things.

    Adorable.

  45. Always love the Baby E posts :) This was a goodie. I also loved your answer to Baby E's question about how much you would ask for for him. (((warm fuzzies))) Such handsome boys you have, love. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  46. Man, I'm catching up on my blog reading and thus missed out on your tip about Wipe-Out. Maybe next week. I know some little boys at my house who would crack up at that.

I wouldn't sell my wedding rings either. In fact, even though I have some other gold jewelry that I never wear, I can't bring myself to sell it because my parents and grandparents gave it to me.

Looking forward to reading about your future in the future (next week).

  47. Baby E is so great.

Did he actually GET Contact? That's the Foster movie? If he did, then I'm officially re-enrolling in elementary school.

  48. Hey Baby E, I'm with your Mom on the Wipe-out bit...I can't watch that show either. But I hope the season premiere was everything you wanted it to be!
